Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. After a successful Series of Championship Dual Events in 2009, we move forward. We enter into the start of the Scholastic Season with a lot of wrestlers that are much improved. Off-season team events have grown by storm and serve as great program builders. Competing in the events such as the Midwest Grand Challenge hosted on the Campus of Michigan State, the Northern Exposure June Duals in St Ignace, allowed wrestlers to pick up to 12 or more quality matches. Team trips that bonded relationships between coaches, teammates and a few added family vacations. If you competed in the annual August barn burner, Grand River Rumble, and the most recent Fall Dual Championships, participants in these tournaments were able to face competition from a number of programs across the globe that stretched from Canada, and States such as New Jersey into the Midwest Regions of Iowa and Minnesota allowing up 25 intense matches. Director’s of the off-season Championship Dual events would like to thank all those who participated in 2009 and Invite programs to consider the 2010 dates. Positive adjustments have been made such as eligibility based on Grade during the 2009-2010 school year and weight class adjustments that are consistent with each tournament.
